10 Random Things
  • I’m from a small town north of Cincinnati, Loveland, Ohio, which is close to Kings Island Amusement park. It’s only one of two Loveland cities in the U.S. (Loveland, CO is the most famous). Loveland, Ohio is known for its Valentine’s Lady tradition.
  • I spend my free time on weekends with my young son Declan. We enjoy exploring the Orlando Science Center quite a bit. It’s one of his favorite spots.
  • I have a professional theatre background, have performed in NYC and regionally across the U.S. in plays and musicals. Favorite musical: Sweeney Todd.
  • Served four years in the U.S. Marines as a musician. Played saxophone and sang in the Marine Band stationed in California. Marched in the Rose Bowl parade on three separate occasions and performed for former presidents, VIPs and celebrities. Favorite celebrity encounter was meeting Morgan Freeman.
  • Attended broadcasting school and did a small stint as an overnight DJ for a young country radio station in Cincinnati.
  • Enjoy traveling and have seen a good portion of the U.S. on both the east and west coasts. Still looking to travel internationally; Canada and Mexico don’t really count as international travel in my opinion.
  • I consider myself a true theme park nerd. I love exploring the Orlando theme parks on a regular basis.
  • I’m still a devoted Cincinnati sports fan. I’m hoping by 2030 the Reds and the Bengals will someday be solid teams again!
  • In high school, I won a cartoon competition and was selected to have my editorial cartoon redrawn by Pulitzer Prize winning editorial cartoonist Jim Borgman, which debuted in the Cincinnati Enquirer.
  • Some of my favorite foods include chicken quesadillas, chips and guac, anything with bacon and of course, Cincinnati’s famous Skyline Chili.
